A few words about me

I started my career as a Land Surveyor in 1989. Before starting my own Survey consultancy firm called “NIDHI SURVEYORS & ENGINEERS". I am lucky enough to get the opportunity to work on the following prestigious projects where I utilized my skills and learned new technologies:-

KONKAN RAILWAY PROJECT (RATNAGIRI SOUTH-77KMS) -1991

  • Those days we didn't have the access to GPS ,TOTAL STATION and data processing software like CIVILCAD, MX or CIVIL 3D.
  • We used PLANE TABLE to fix the Location, EDM for traversing and colored sketch pen to analyze the contours on Survey Of India Toposheets .
  • Used coordinate Trigonometry to set out 2.5 km curve length having HIP in sea and tangent length of 14 km at Ratnagiri Town

    • DELHI - MATHURA FOUR LANING PROJECT - 1992

  • Still didn't have the access to design software like Mx or CIVIL3D but used in house software to plot the x-sections by manually inputting the OGL and FRL data.
  • The most difficult task was to Design for Camber Correction and vertical profile of Existing road. This was designed manually at each x-section. Survey and Laying of RIGID pavement, Laying of continuous Kerb were the new things learn.

    • A.P.STATE HIGHWAY PROJECT-1400 KMS -1995

  • This was the time we encountered with new technology, got TOTAL STATIONS , GPS , DIGITAL LEVEL, and SURVEY and DESIGN SOFTWARE CIVILCAD.
  • Data Collection was so easy and faster that we completed 104 kms  of(Cuddapa - Tadipatri) road in just 14 days.
  • Analyzing different options of Alignment was very easy.

TADA - NELLORE - NH-5 BOT PROJECT

  • Execution of BOT Project was a unique experience.
  • Quantity determination and budget preparation was done.
  • As a construction Manager , execution skills were gained.

RAIN TREE PARK - An Integrated Township Project

  • As an AGM , High Rise Building project executed from excavation to handing over. Rock blasting and crushing operations in middle of town was a challenging job.

  • Now it was time to Start NIDHI SURVEYORS AND ENGINEERS. The company was started and services are provided to TEAM UNIVERSAL INFRATECH PRIVATE LIMITED by managing execution of GOLF LINK PROJECT , DMRC RAIL LINK PROJECT, DEOLI-KOTA Road Project and Bareilly - Nainital Road Project as Project Director and SURVEY and Design consultancy to other Companies like IJM, AFCON, DBCPL, CES, IVRCL, HSMB,GVK,CHETAK,DSC,DMRC,IDEB etc.
